DOVER, NJ, SEPTEMBER, 2007 - Casio America, Inc. announced a three-year agreement with up and coming professional LPGA golfer, Erica Blasberg. As one of the most popular up and coming, fashion-forward golfers in her category, Blasberg's love of fashion and style is one that resonates with the Casio brand.
Blasberg picked up her first club at 5 years old and has been hitting the links ever since. As an amateur, she was a standout on the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) circuit and garnered numerous awards and accomplishments. Blasberg was a three-time, first-team Polo All-American, was a member of the 2002 Canon Cup and winner of the 2002 Rolex Tournament of Champions. Erica began her professional career (qualifying for the Tour on her first attempt) in 2004 on the Future's Tour and nailed down four top-10 results in 8 events.
As part of the agreement, Blasberg will feature the Casio logo on her golf shirts as well as be outfitted with her choice of Casio timepieces. Her selection will be made based on the color selections made for her touring attire.
