This exhibition features black-and-white photographs from Ricardo Barros's portrait series, Facing Sculpture.
These non-traditional portraits of contemporary sculptors reveal not only images of the artists themselves, but also show them in physical and psychological relationships with their work.
Subjects include both internationally renowned sculptors, and artists who live and work in the New England region. Accompanied by the book Facing Sculpture, a Portfolio of Portraits, Sculpture, and Related Ideas, with an introduction by DeCordova Curator Nick Capasso, who organized this show.
