AIGA Toledo and the Division of Graphic Design at Bowling Green State University invite you to join us for our Annual ARTalks Lecture Series. This year we are thrilled to bring Marian Bantjes, Vancouver-based designer and illustrator, to the BGSU campus.
Widely published and recognized, Marian brings many years' experience in design, book typesetting and production. She teaches Typography and Editorial Design through the Emily Carr Institute, Vancouver, is an author for the design discussion website 'Speak Up', and previously was a designer of, and contributor to, the Vancouver Review, producing work for a variety of companies, arts organizations, and educational institutions.
Marian has spoken at CalArts, Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), Saskatchewan Design Week, and Graphex '06, and continues to lecture and judge design competitions across the country.
