Destruction! Chaos! Aggression! All visitors of Galerie Jan Wentrup in Berlin will undergo these specific conditions and feelings. At least they are elemental to American artist Jen Ray's new works that will be shown there.
She says: "I usually think of a specific setting or prop that I can build the whole drawing around, like a red throne or a giant pile of feathers. After that the characters fall into place. However, it's pretty organic and always changes along the way. Plus, I like to add some extra destruction and chaos at the end to stop it from being too rigid."
