Burgopak: Innovative Packaging at Rugby World Cup 2007

Burgopak, the innovative packaging company, has produced a stunning limited edition accreditation box for one of the most high profile tournaments in the international sporting calendar - Rugby World Cup 2007. The contract, commissioned by Colour Coordinate, marks Burgopak's first foray into corporate sporting events packaging.

The striking Rugby World Cup Burgopak packaging contains match tickets and will be given to all Sky Box, Platinum, Prestige and Premier ticket holders - a total of 120,000 VIPs.

In addition to providing premium packaging, the Burgopak team acted as a one stop shop, sourcing extras such as the waterproof ticket carry case and neck strap - all of which are contained securely inside the Burgopak package. The exterior, designed by Colour Coordinate, showcases the distinctive Rugby World Cup logo in a spot uv finish across the extended pack.

Burgopak's Patrizia Nittoli and Burgo Wharton led on the structural design.

Burgopak was commissioned by Colour Coordinate, the agency hired by RTH'07 Ltd to provide design and event management for corporate Hospitality venues throughout France for Rugby World Cup.
