Born Glasgow, 1962. Studied at Edinburgh College of Art graduating from MA course in 1986.
Exhibited widely in Britain, Germany, Italy and USA. In 1992 he won the major prize at the Royal Glasgow Institute and in 1996 was a prize winner at the BP National Portrait Exhibition.
Has exhibited at Jill George Gallery since 1990 with regular solo exhibitions, the most recent in October 2007.
