South Shore Designer Wins Aquent’s Spooktacular Design Contest
BOSTON, MA (Oct, 2007) — The votes are in and Aquent, the global leader in marketing staffing and related services, is pleased to announce the winner of its Halloween-themed design contest. Kevin Bonixe of Bridgewater bested the field of 40-plus contestants with this entry:
In addition to seeing his work displayed on Aquent.com, Kevin received $275 in prize money and will be profiled on Aquent’s Talent Blog.
Kevin actually submitted several entries, and as fate would have it, our panel of judges awarded another of his entries an Honorable Mention, for which he will receive a set of Adobe CS3 “Dynamic Learning” reference books from Aquent Graphics Institute. The second place winner, Terry Mckee of Lindsay Ontario, received $75.
Asked about the winning design, Aquent’s creative director, Mark Saperstein, laughed ghoulishly and said, “I liked Kevin’s entry for several reasons, but what impressed me the most was his ability to squeeze so much into it—lighting effects, music, even a kind of drama.
“Very effective,” he added, “and very spooky!”
