Infrared photography is a rare and specialized craft practiced mainly by skilled photographers. TAXI Design Network caught a glimpse of the world in a different light at Infrared City: The World in a Different Light
............................................................................
Sometimes things are always not what you perceive them to be...
The world transmits and radiates infrared light, which are not visible to our eyes.
Infrared Photography is the ability of film to capture what the human eye cannot see, and is usually practiced only by skilled photographers.
TAXI viewed the world in an entirely new light, through the lenses of the Infrared Photography Collective, at an exhibition held at the National Library Board of Singapore. The Infrared Photography Collective consists of photographers from all walks of life brought together by their passion of this rare and specialized craft previously only known to scientists and doctors.
Supported by Nikon, the National Library Board, Epson and Club Snap, dreamy, surreal and moody landscapes adorned the exhibition walls, with most images in shades of sepia, black and white and the occasional splash of colour.
