International Museum Communication Awards Ceremony

The nine Awards (exhibition campaign, gold, silver, bronze – corporate design, gold, silver, bronze – Innovation – Integration – Peers award) will be announced on 29 November during a prestigious ceremony held in Brussels at Indigo Studios. All projects of the nominees and the winners will be showed during the ceremony. Final results will be published in The Art Newspaper and Form after the ceremony.

Tickets for the event on 29 November are available online on IMCA’s website until 15 November 2007.

A unique forum and networking event, the IMCA Awards will take place at Indigo Studios, a new venue for the arts at the heart of Brussels on 29 November 2007. A tailored programme will include presentations on various innovative fields linked to recent evolutions in graphic design and cultural communications issues such as: “Art and New Media Tools”, a new artcast with exclusive interview of famous Belgian artist Wim Delvoye presented by Bizart, “Printing for Museums’ by Nicolas Buck, CEO, Victor Buck (Luxembourg), “Brand Strategy” by Geoff Linsell from the London based agency Moving Brands. By the end of the afternoon, IMCA will wind down with a screening of Wim Delvoye’s interview about Cloaca, visits to the major shows of the Europalia festival, a cocktail party and dinner at Indigo Studios in-between the Ceremony Awards and the Peers Awards. On the same day, free entrance to Bozar to see the exhibition Portugal: Encompassing the Globe. Portugal and the World in the 16th and the 17th Centuries with IMCA badges.

A book with a selection of case studies will be published in 2008 and the IMCA winners will have the chance to present their projects in Venice as part of the next international Communicating the Museum conference, the leading event for museum professionals, organised by Agenda!

Accomodation and traveling facilities
