Join design activists at the ADC’s annual event for a half-day of inspirational presentations, provocative conversation and a call to action uniting designers behind meaningful change.

In addition, Selections from the Graphic Imperative: International Posters for Peace, Social Justice, and the Environment 1965-2005, an exhibition of the world’s most powerful political and social posters, will be on view in the ADC Gallery.

Witness the next generation of design activism with presentations from three young designers who have made significant impact to society through projects focused on social causes. A panel discussion will discuss the designer’s role in provoking change.

A panel of leaders gathered from eclectic backgrounds, the Masters of Designism will discuss the state of activism across all media, and how designers can amplify their roles as cultural leaders by creating a new kind of design career dedicated to social change.

A presentation and call to action from Idealist.org, a project of nonprofit organization Action Without Borders. A reception will follow where designers will be challenged to make connections and put intent into action for Idealist.org and other causes.
