With the support of DesignSingapore Council the UK-based organisation has developed a series of inspirational talks that will take place on 28/29 November. Speakers include D&AD President Simon Waterfall, Education & Professional Development Director Laura Woodroffe and D&AD Yellow Pencil Winner Jason Glassick, Creative Director at Design Bridge Singapore. The events are for students, new graduates and working creatives and aim to inspire and motivate the creative community in Singapore.
As part of the DMI (Design Management Institute) Conference on Wednesday, 28 November, Waterfall will share his insights into the ever-changing digital world and its impact on creativity. Woodroffe and Glassick will give a lecture on how participants can get noticed in the highly competitive creative industries. This event will hosted by Lasalle University on 29 November and is open to students across Singapore.
Simon Waterfall will also attend the President’s Design Award Ceremony on 27 November. Waterfall was part of the judging panel for this prestigious national award in August 2007.
