The holiday season is ripe with potential for great emotional conflict, especially for clients in treatment. At the same time, therapists may struggle with their own personal stress and issues around the holidays.
In this humorous, interactive discussion, presented by the MPS Art Therapy Department, art therapist Lisa Furman provides students and therapists with effective tools for dealing with what is known as “Holiday Syndrome” in their client relationships and in their personal lives.
Furman is a registered, board certified and licensed art therapist, who has been in practice for nearly 20 years and is on the faculty at SVA.
