MUW Saatchi & Saatchi in Slovakia has announced the appointment of Ivan Hulík as their new Managing Director. He was most recently director of the agency’s T-Mobile unit.
Hulík graduated from Philosophical Faculty of Comenius University in Bratislava and started his professional career in advertising back in 1997. Since then he has gained experience working in senior positions with international agencies in both Vienna and Prague, before returning to Bratislava and joining MUW Saatchi & Saatchi in 2005.
In his new position Hulík will assume responsibility for the operational management of the agency with a focus on key clients. The present Chairman and CEO of MUW Saatchi & Saatchi, Juraj Miškov, will continue to lead new business operations and catalyze further development and growth of the MUW Saatchi & Saatchi communication group, focusing on media, shopper marketing and interactive technologies.
“15 years after founding our agency we have reached the position of being one of the most respected advertising agencies on our market, and Ivan ranks among the most experienced advertising people I have known,” said Juraj Miškov. “The time is right to pass on the executive leadership of the agency to Ivan. I consider this to be a very logical evolution.”
