Experience Southwest culture with artist demonstrations, entertaining music, dance performances and hands-on activities offered at TWO HEARD LOCATIONS: Heard Museum in downtown Phoenix and Heard Museum West in Surprise. Holidays at the Heard, is a must-see for your family, friends and out-of-town guests starting Wednesday, December 26 through Monday, December 31.
Visitors can enjoy fry bread (downtown location only) and apple cider (West location only) or hot cocoa as they experience American Indian music and dance performances such as the Dinetah Dancers, Derrick Davis and Eric Manuelito.
Several noted American Indian artists will demonstrate how they make a variety of artwork such as pottery, beadwork and textiles.
Cost: Holidays at the Heard is inlcuded in general museum admission: $10 for adults; $9 for seniors (65+); $5 students with an ID; $4 for children 6-12; FREE for children under 6, Heard Museum members and Native Americans with proof of tribal enrollment.
