Clear Channel Outdoor UK has been awarded a long-term contract to supply and maintain street furniture in the city of Dundee. The contract covers more than 300 ad panels on bus shelters and Free Standing Units (FSUs) across the city.
Clear Channel Outdoor Regional President for the UK, Ireland & Africa, Barry Sayer, said: “Clear Channel has held the contract in Dundee for more than 20 years and, during this current period of major investment in the area, we will continue to work closely with the planning, transport and economic development departments in Dundee to evolve street furniture in the City.”
With a population of 141,890, Dundee is a regional employment, education and retail centre with 300,000 people residing within a 30-minute drive time of the City Centre and 628,500 residing within a one-hour commuting distance. Its key economic sectors are: education, biotechnology, digital media, engineering, publishing, manufacturing, telecommunications, energy, tourism, electronics, health and retail.
This announcement follows Clear Channel’s premium street furniture contract win in Glasgow and adds to its existing exclusive street furniture contracts with Aberdeen and Edinburgh.
Clear Channel in total holds more than 350 municipal contracts in the UK including the largest street furniture advertising contract for bus shelters in London.
