Philadelphia, PA – Clear Channel Outdoor-Philadelphia recently received the 2007 Director’s Community Leadership Award for featuring the photos of 11 of Philadelphia’s most violent fugitives on eight billboards throughout the region.
In addition to these postings, the company was lauded for temporarily suspending all advertisements on its digital billboards in the area for 30 minutes to aid the agency in the capture of the killer of a local policeman.
The Director’s Community Award is reserved for individuals who have made an outstanding contribution within the community towards crime prevention and community awareness.
Barbara Bridge, Vice President of Real Estate and Public Affairs for Clear Channel Outdoor-Philadelphia was on hand to accept the award on behalf of the group.
