iCrossing to Reflect Vertical Go-To-Market Strategy and National Delivery Model
PRESS RELEASE

December 2007

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – In an effort to better serve a growing Fortune 500 client base, iCrossing, a global digital marketing company announced a new organizational structure to reflect the company’s vertical industry go-to-market strategy and national delivery model.

In the new organizational structure, which includes the integration of Proxicom and Sharp Analytics, the client services team will be aligned by vertical industry expertise. Key vertical industries of focus include: automotive, energy, financial services, life & wellness, retail & consumer packaged goods, telecommunications & technology, and travel & hospitality.

In an effort to promote best practices across the integrated company as well as manage growth, iCrossing’s delivery team will be organized by discipline and operate on a national level.

The new iCrossing organizational structure reflects the integrated role that paid and natural search marketing, Web development, social media, research, and analytics play in successful digital marketing programs.

The combined company now has 550 employees in 13 offices around the world, making it one of the largest independent digital marketing companies.

"We are one company with one goal," said Don Scales, president and COO of iCrossing.

"That is to provide our Fortune 500 clients with the most innovative approaches to digital marketing that incorporate the best of search, Web development, social and other new media. This integrated organizational structure reflects the best interests of our clients and will help manage our future growth."

Brian Powley will oversee the client services organization as chief client officer. Powley joined iCrossing in 2006 as managing director of the San Francisco office. Before iCrossing, Powley served as managing director, Modem Media West.

iCrossing’s delivery organization will report into Dave Johnson, who recently joined iCrossing as executive vice president of operations. Johnson comes to iCrossing from Agency.com, where he served as president of North America. Both Powley and Johnson will report to iCrossing president and COO, Don Scales.

iCrossing acquired Sharp Analytics in March of 2007. Sharp Analytics’s proprietary marketing dashboard technology provides Fortune 500 marketers the most comprehensive offline to online campaign insight available in the industry.

Proxicom was acquired by iCrossing in August of this year. Founded in 1991, Proxicom creates award-winning Web sites for blue-chip brands including Toyota, DuPont and Epson. Paid search leader NewGate Internet was integrated into iCrossing shortly after it was acquired in late 2006.
