HP announced that Arsenal Capital Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, has purchased the HP Neoview data warehousing platform with HP Services for operational business intelligence.
Working with HP, Arsenal’s portfolio company Sermatech International will be able to automatically align business decisions with business events in real time, as well as share pertinent information to a broader set of knowledge workers across the enterprise.
As a result, Sermatech will be able to make better business decisions about resource allocation, profitability and customer responsiveness.
Arsenal is a private equity firm that invests in midmarket companies in the specialty manufacturing and services, specialty chemicals and materials, aerospace and defense, and healthcare industries.
HP Neoview will initially be deployed at one of its larger portfolio companies, Sermatech, which is headquartered in Pennsylvania. Sermatech specializes in developing and applying engineered protective coatings for global aerospace companies. The company also serves oil and gas, chemical processing and industrial gas turbine industries.
Arsenal selected HP Neoview after a thorough analysis of HP versus market rivals, and chose HP over the competition based on its operational data warehousing needs.
Neoview and HP Services combine to deliver a comprehensive real-time solution, with better overall performance, superior availability and scalability, and appliance-like operation, all at an affordable price.

HP Services’ business intelligence professionals were a key factor in Arsenal’s choice. With experience in data analytics, dashboard generation and complicated data models, HP Service professionals are engineering and designing a foundation for Arsenal to create financial and operational applications for compliance and projections in the future.
