Innovate and Green Conference - Greener by design
Earls Court, Warwick Road, London SW5 9TA
London
27 February 2008
Hand in hand with a growing realisation that the effects of climate change on the built environment are inevitable, is a recognition that planners and architects in particular, have to make adaptation to those effects a clear priority.
This module will address the future shape of the built environment, focusing on designing in green space and increasing biodiversity, minimising the urban heat island effect, and developing climate responsive buildings.
Irena Bauman, Bauman Lyons and CABE Commissioner will join the panel of speakers discussing how this can be achieved.
