Extravagant and fresh design from Baltic States at the imm cologne 2008 is represented by Lithuania. Sedes Regia designs futuristic objects beyond imagination.
ALIEN: This rather strange sitting object was designed by designer, Jonas Jurgaitis and reminds us more of a bunch of tentacles bound together than a classic settee. The maritime theme is continued by the colour of the many tentacles.
They are silver and seem to be held together in the centre only by a clip that is an armrest made of polished wood.
JUJU: The idea arose while walking along the streets of Vienna and admiring the Art Nouveau style architecture. JUJU is characterised by the careful balance between laconic rectangular volumes and plant-
shaped ornaments.
