Canon Communications, the leading publisher, trade show producer, and digital media company for the world’s $3 trillion advanced, technology-based manufacturing industry, today announced that it anticipates that more than 47,000 attendees and 2,200 exhibitors will attend the nation’s largest advanced design and manufacturing event, on January 28-31. The combined expositions will occupy all 384,000 net square feet of exhibit space in the Anaheim Convention Center.
“Los Angeles is our home market, so we are excited to bring this mega-event to Anaheim,” said Kevin O’Keefe, vice president of Canon’s events division. “Unlike other trade shows, our co-location strategy allows Canon to bring together in one large venue decision-makers from across industry lines with a single common denominator – they use advanced, technology-based manufacturing processes. At the Anaheim Convention Center, they will get more of that access than anywhere else.”
He added, “We are particularly proud of the introduction this year of the new Green Manufacturing Expo and the concurrent Green Manufacturing Conference (www.greenmfgexpo.com), which will bring together more than 300 exhibiting companies in categories ranging from biomaterials to wind power components and systems. The green manufacturing concept is an important element in advanced, technology-based manufacturing, and Canon is the only trade show company to address it with at this depth.”
