Black Voices (BlackVoices.com) announced plans to honor Black History Month this February by celebrating trailblazers in the African American community from the past, present and future. Black Voices is the No. 1 site for African American news, culture and community according to comScore Media Metrix.
"Black History is ongoing and we wanted to make sure we highlight those who are making history in their daily lives," said Tariq Muhammad, Director of Black Voices. Throughout the month of February, Black Voices will transform its site into a celebration of black history with the theme Trailblazers in Black History: Past, Present and Future.

Black Voices will feature African Americans who broke new ground for the community, whether in politics, business, fashion, music, the arts or television. The list includes the likes of comedian and actor Bill Cosby, publishing entrepreneur John E. Johnson and legendary singer Diana Ross.
Present
Black Voices will also examine those who continue to expand into new territories for the African American community, from Senator Barack Obama to model and media mogul Tyra Banks to General William Kip Ward.
Future
Who are tomorrow's most promising trailblazers? Black Voices will focus on people like designer Kai Milla, writer/musician Saul Williams and inventor Mary Spio who, as founder and CEO of Next Galaxy Media, has four patents for digital cinema technology.
