BEAVERTON, Ore. — Nike is closing out the NFL season this weekend - when players truly leave nothing on the field - in unprecedented creative fashion using digital animation depicting the NFC and AFC Champions, including NFL MVP Tom Brady, in two 30-second commercial spots from agency Wieden & Kennedy.
Nike's LEAVE NOTHING football campaign that captures the true essence of pouring heart and soul into every play and every game continues this weekend in much the same way it began the season back in September.
Beginning Saturday morning during ESPN SportsCenter and running throughout the weekend on the sports network, Nike will air two different 30-second spots tracking the progress of New England Patriots offensive players Tom Brady, Wes Welker and Kevin Faulk, and New York Giants defensive players Osi Umenyiora and Michael Strahan throughout the NFL play-offs.
The two different spots converge in a breathtaking goal line collision between Faulk and Strahan in the Super Bowl before going to black, leaving the outcome up to the imagination of the viewers.
To kick off the NFL season, Nike introduced a similar creative execution that tracked the progress of San Diego Chargers defensive player Shawne Merriman and St. Louis Rams offensive player Steven Jackson.
