Trolltech® announced today that SMART Technologies has adopted Qt®, Trolltech’s framework for cross-platform application development, to assist in creating its Notebook™ collaborative learning software for WSMART Technologies chose Qt because it is a platform independent framework and frees their developers from having to perform platform-specific maintenance. Developers focus on building the core value of each product, instead of platform-specific maintenance. Qt also eliminates the need to invest resources in multiple languages, toolkits and environments.
