PIKA Technologies Inc., a developer of media-processing hardware and software, announced that PIKA Warp, the Appliance for Asterisk, has been named a winner of a “Best of Show” Award at Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC®)’s INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference and EXPO East 2008. TMC reports that the conference was attended by over 7,100 people at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami from January 23-25, 2008.
PIKA Warp, the Appliance for Asterisk, provides developers with an out-of-the-box embedded computer that allows them to deploy Asterisk, trixbox and other Linux-based applications with a rich set of traditional and next-generation telephony features, optimized for the SMB environment. By using the Appliance, application developers have the functionality of a key service unit at an attractive cost in a smaller footprint. Completely customizable, the Appliance is compatible with VoIP and analog trunks and telephones.
