In the context of the Multiplicity & Visual Identities programme of Design2context in Amsterdam public lectures from recognized speakers on identity, visual identity, design, representation and media culture in multicultural hybrid societies will take place monthly.
The second lecture, by curator, teacher and author Regina Bittner, programme coordinator of the Bauhaus Kolleg in Dessau will lecture under the title Cosmopolis Invisible? This contribution is about how urbanism, visible and invisible urban processes touches the core of contemporary urban multicultural life and the broader profession of design.
Regina Bittner researches, teaches and organizes at Bauhaus projects such as Event City (2000/2001); Transit Spaces (2003/2004); UN Urbanism (2005/2006); EU Urbanism (2006/2007) and Border Cities (2007/2008).
