Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide Bolsters Senior Teams in NY

Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide (Ogilvy PR) announces today a new senior team member in its New York office: Tamara Boorstein, vice president, Public Affairs. In addition, the firm promoted Joe Snodgrass from Senior Vice President to Executive Vice President, Public Affairs; Linda Carilli from Vice President to Senior Vice President, Healthcare Practice; and Cynthia Isaac from Vice President to Senior Vice President, Healthcare Practice.

Growing Expertise for a Growing Client Base
Boorstein
joins the agency with an extensive background in public relations. She has worked at several agencies including, Edelman and most recently MWW Group—where she most recently served as vice president in the Global Corporate Communications Practice. She has worked on a variety of accounts including, Scottish Development International, Scottish Executive, Iceland Naturally, Visit Scotland, Diabetes America and the State University of New York. Boorstein earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in education from Adelphi in New York. She is fluent in French and can also converse in Italian, Japanese and Russian.

Promotions Build Healthcare and Public Affairs Team Structure
Snodgrass
has been instrumental in the development of Ogilvy PR’s New York Public Affairs Practice. At Ogilvy PR, he has led campaigns for some of the agencies leading clients including Lexis Nexis, FM Global, Boehringer Ingelheim and Grant Thornton. Prior to rejoining Ogilvy PR, he managed media relations and message development at The Harbour Group—a public affairs and government relations firm—for a variety of clients including, the Asbestos Study Group—a coalition of Fortune 100 firms seeking asbestos litigation reform, US Airways, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Consumer Electronics Association. Previously, Snodgrass managed tax, banking and budget issues as a legislative assistant on the staff of Congressman Mike Doyle (D-PA). He has also served on mayoral, congressional and gubernatorial election campaigns. Snodgrass received his bachelor’s degree in government from the College of William & Mary.
