Akorri, Inc., the leader in cross-domain performance management for the virtualized data center, announced that Gartner Inc., the world’s leading information technology research and advisory company, has named Akorri in its “Cool Vendors in Server Virtualization Management” report. The report was written by Cameron Haight, Ronni J. Colville and Milind Govekar.
“IT organizations adopting the use of virtual-server technology are often reaping the benefits of hardware cost, data center facilities and energy reductions, but at the same time see that the “no free lunch” theorem is in full effect as they grapple with the increasing complexity and new challenges that arise with the adoption of this architecture,” states the report. “Many enterprises will discover that new tools will be needed to determine optimum deployment configurations, discover increasingly mobile assets, constrain unnecessary VM creation and account for the costs of this new-age shared infrastructure.”
“We are thrilled that Gartner has recognized Akorri in this report” said Tom Joyce, CEO of Akorri. “We are pleased that our recently launched BalancePoint 2.0 is receiving, in my opinion, strong industry validation and recognition.”
Akorri recently released BalancePoint 2.0 with significant new features including: GuidePoint Performance Index™, Scorecard Reporting, and Storage Virtualization Support.
