This is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for an ambitious, creative and highly organised Art Director/ Design Manager to work for a reputable global Media Company. Managing a team of six, you will be producing a variety of work including five B2B magazines, various events/collateral, digital content and a number of special projects.
The position requires a 'hands-on' senior creative with innate brand awareness and the craft to design across print, digital and 3D, although the latter is not imperative. You are an energetic, 'people person' with solid experience in leveraging the best from teams of designers. You do this by also managing the workflow and schedules for a busy studio to produce numerous high-quality projects within challenging deadlines.
This is a role only for the positive, innovative and professionally ambitious - for an Art Director who relishes the challenge of getting the most out of a team of designers by inspiring and motivating with creative vision and leading through knowledge and exemplary work.
the small print
The Hong Kong studio currently produces work in Quark, but is looking to migrate over to Indesign within the next 12 months. The office currently has a team of six designers (English speaking) working across print, digital and exhibitions. The ability to speak Cantonese is advantageous. Your portfolio will demonstrate a dedication to highly functional design with artistic sensitivity to layout, typography and colour combinations.
