Freshness-lovers have long turned to Febreze to eliminate odors on soft surfaces -- and now with the introduction of Febreze Decor, Febreze freshness is available in a more decorative bottle option to keep outside of kitchen cabinets and pantries for convenient access.
"The Decor bottle was created for Febreze lovers who like Fabric Refresher, but do not want the appearance of their home to be compromised when the product is left out after use," explained Eric Huston, Brand Manager of Febreze.
"People are more design-minded than ever before," Huston said. "With the natural design of Febreze Fabric Refresher Decor bottles, Febreze lovers won't have to sacrifice their personal household design style."
Huston said that Procter & Gamble researchers observed that the traditional Fabric Refresher bottle was being stored in cupboards under sinks, and in other out-of-the-way places.
"The neutral packaging and compact size of Febreze Decor bottles make them a perfect accent for different rooms in the home, on counter tops, bookshelves, coffee tables and nightstands," he explained. "That means a quick spritz of freshness is always handy."
With today's consumers trending towards a more "natural" home design, the brand took an organic approach when creating the Febreze Decor bottles. The botanical images and simple aesthetic evoke a sense of nature and freshness, which have become a point of reference for home design as well as for Febreze.
Febreze Decor Fabric Refresher is safe on virtually all fabrics including pillows, blankets, carpet and clothing. The spray eliminates odors on fabrics including those caused by pets, cooking and musty smells, leaving a light fresh scent.
While P&G does not set retail prices, Febreze Decor bottles are expected to retail at about $2.99 and come in a package of three scents: Meadows & Rain(TM); Spring & Renewal(TM) and Lavender Vanilla & Comfort(TM).
The Febreze family of products, which also includes the Febreze Candle(TM), Febreze Fabric Refresher, Febreze Air Effects(TM) and Febreze NOTICEables(TM), all feature advanced odor eliminating technology.
