Hot Job of The Day: Brand Manager, San Diego
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Coordinates the development, communication and implementation of strategic vision, goals and plans for assigned brands.

  • Brand Champion for assigned brands, responsible for achieving EBITDA and Sales goals by helping develop and implementing appropriate plans, programs and promotions.

  • Proactively monitors and controls key initiatives, appropriate budgets, measures of success, etc. to achieve required goals.

  • Assists in management of the annual budget.

  • Assists in development of promotional sales forecasts, margin analysis and profitability measures.

  • Manages the corporate website. Works with Group Product Director to develop company web strategy, and leads development and implementation of web tactics across all company brands and corporate initiatives.

  • Actively communicates with and constructively works across necessary departments to achieve required goals.

  • Helps develop, implements and monitors Marketing Plan details related to advertising, promotions, public relations and budget.

  • Assists in creation and development of promotions for assigned brands. Follows up on legal requirements, SKU configuration/logistics, vendor coordination, preliminary program development, implementation, control, and measurement.

  • Directs marketing support including the creation of all collateral material, point of purchase and direct mail programs involving assigned brands. Manages all collateral and premium inventories.

  • Coordinates advertising and public relations agency activities to ensure timely, on budget completion of all projects.

  • Assists in the dissemination of marketing and promotional information globally. Communicates appropriate details to all affected functional units. Prepares information for sales force and customers regarding advertising, PR and sales promotions.

  • Works with Group Product Director and Marketing Associate, New & Existing SKUs, on new and promotional SKU development. Assists in the training of interns.

  • Determines appropriate trade show strategy for assigned brands.

  • Analyzes market trends and coordinates market research strategies.

    MUST HAVE: DIRECT GROCERY or HOUSEHOLD PRODUCT/RETAIL EXPERIENCE...AND
    No relocation assistance.
