Leo Burnett Taipei Declared Leadership Agency

PRESS RELEASE

May 2008

Leo Burnett Taipei has come out at the top of the ranks yet again in Taiwan, following a much anticipated overall Agency Report released by leading industry publication Brain Magazine. In January they were declared Best Agency in Taiwan in terms of strategic thinking, creative performance, communication, cost control capability, and service team. The results were drawn from an extensive industry survey filled out by advertisers, media agencies and PR agencies. Now, Leo Burnett has also received another major award, “Leadership Agency in Taiwan”, putting them at number one in terms of creativity, overall performance and market size. Having also received both of these top honours in 2006, this demonstrates consistent leadership on behalf of the agency.

The recent Leadership Agency award was drawn from an in-depth agency report focusing on overall performance, growth, breakthrough initiatives, current client relations and big new business wins for 2007.

“Because we too hold a leadership position, Leo Burnett fully understands the pressure and needs of our clients in specific categories. This is the key reason why these leading brands choose Leo Burnett as their partner. Our next challenge is to maintain the leadership for both our clients and ourselves, and to extend the distance between us and our competitors" said Leo Burnett Taipei Managing Director Margaret Huang.

According to the report, 2007’s stagnant economy tested the mettle of Taiwan’s advertising agencies. Leo Burnett Taipei continued its outstanding performance in 2006 into the following year, retaining its list of leadership clients such as Chunghwa Telecom and McDonald’s, and adding new ones such as Savrin, Carrefour and Wrigley’s.

Leo Burnett's work style has accumulated industry praise over the years, and their persistence has earned them the great results they have today; making them the proud model for the rest of the advertising industry in Taiwan to follow.
