Motorola Mobile Devices Business Names Ogilvy Worldwide Creative Agency

Ogilvy Worldwide announced that it is expanding its relationship with Motorola, and has been named lead global creative agency of record for the company's Mobile Devices business.
Ogilvy currently manages the Motorola Mobile Devices account in Asia Pacific, India and Latin America. The new arrangements add responsibility for the account in Europe, Middle East and Africa, as well as North America, which were previously handled by a variety of creative partners.
Ogilvy was first awarded the global Motorola account in 2000, launching an integrated campaign with the tag line "Intelligence Everywhere" and the famous "HELLOMOTO" signature. Ogilvy's global reach and strong success with Motorola over the past eight years, particularly in Asia Pacific where early adoption of technology is important, were cited by Motorola as one of the key factors in their decision to consolidate with Ogilvy.
"Motorola is focused on building global brand equity through the authentic consumer experiences our products deliver," said Erick Soderstrom, Vice President of Global Brand Marketing, Motorola Mobile Devices business. "O&M combines a global perspective with an innate understanding of this brand's pioneering spirit in the industry. As we look to the future that experience, coupled with fresh thinking, will be a critical part of the brand's development."
