This full-day course is focused on teaching methods and techniques to get past obstacles, big and small, that prevent great design from happening. This starts with forging a shared vision with people at all levels of the org chart, having the right mindset and approach to be a design leader, and working with difficult team members. Tom will help students in taking the initiative and making sure the great design they’re part of creating actually sees the light of day. It will also help students grow as a professional, both within and beyond design.

Using practical, real-world examples with an emphasis on activities and hands-on learning, Tom will help designers and design stakeholders develop the skills and approaches necessary to get people, departments and companies behind great design that actually ships. The result is increased job satisfaction and growth for the student and more success for his or her company.
As with all Involution Master Academy courses, this class is limited to nine students. This guarantees each student significant interaction with Tom and a unique opportunity to roll up their sleeves and put these ideas into practice with the recognized industry expert on this topic and the other eight classmates.
