The Biennale of Sydney announced some highlights of the public program that will compliment the 2008 event, which runs from 18 June – 7 September. Designed to offer something for everyone, the events program explores the 2008 exhibition theme Revolutions – Forms That Turn in fun, stimulating, engaging and creative ways.
From artistic treasure hunts for kids on Cockatoo Island as part of the Revolting Kids! program,
to architectural tours of suburban Sydney and a chance to meet the parents of the exhibiting artists, the Biennale of Sydney 2008 offers a vibrant program of events that will help audiences understand and engage with the exhibited works and the ideas participating artists are exploring.
There will also be performances, a film program, a 2 day symposium and many opportunities to hear the exhibiting artists in conversation at various events across the seven venues of the 16th Biennale of Sydney.
