The architecture firm, A-cero, directed by Joaquin Torres, announces the opening of its new office in Dubai, dedicated to architectural and urban design projects in the Middle East.
The new office is located in the Al Barsha First district, an ample zone under development near the Palm Jumeirah, just a few blocks formt he famous Mall of Emirates, the biggest commercial centre in the region, and will sum to the existing offices in Spain, in Madrid and A Coruna.
A-cero's expansion in the region began in 2007 with the proposal of The Wave Tower, a 92-floor skyscraper standing on the water, in the Madinat Al Arab district. Shortly after, The studio won the international competition for the design of an ample residential area in the Dubai Waterfront, including 5 high rise towers.
At present, A-cero is developing many projects in the United Arab Emirates, and has great expectations about its future in the region.
