Ion is offering $25,000 worth of strategy, branding and creative services to the organisation that comes up with a winning proposal to promote a sustainable product or service. The contest prize will be awarded to the most deserving proposal, as determined by a panel of community leaders and sustainability experts. The prize is open to all not-for-profit, non-governmental, civil society organizations, as well as for-profit companies that have an idea that will make a contribution to the social fabric of our society.
“Sustainability is in the news a lot lately, and though it affects us all it’s difficult to understand what sustainability really means,” said Ion co-founder Rod Roodenburg. “It’s about the environment, but it’s also about community and economic sustainability. We want to give back a little to the community and support the development of a good idea so it can become marketable.”
