Ten SVA students have created a pop-up salon, complete with one-of-a-kind salon chairs, for an event to kick off the new season of the Bravo TV series Shear Genius.
The designs were conceived and fabricated by the students under the guidance of Kevin O’Callaghan, chair of 3D Design at SVA. The festivities will take place at Military Island in New York’s Times Square on Tuesday, June 24, from noon to 2pm.
Fans are invited to view the student-designed chairs, and vote for a favorite, online at bravotv.com beginning Wednesday, June 25. Season 2 of Shear Genius premieres on Wednesday, June 25 at 10pm eastern time.
