Job Description:

Sakson & Taylor, an Aquent company, is a firm that offers content design and development, marketing, and creative services solutions. Position Description:

This marketing team is looking for UI designer. The job would require presence on site in core hours and active collaboration. The candidate should be familiar with rapid design techniques and should be comfortable with "over the shoulder collaboration." The job will include:

Prototyping and improving features

Improving the look and feel of certain web experiences, marketing landing pages

Designing posters

Storyboarding the user experience, screen-by-screen

Assisting the user research with "what-if" and "A-B testing" mock-ups As part of the interview process, the candidate should bring a demo'able or printed portfolio. At least 10 samples are required, with at least 5 being their own, individual, work.

Qualifications:

The position requires:

Extremely sharp knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator (at least 9 of 10)

Strong knowledge of Flash, ActionScript (at least 7 of 10 on both)

Some hand-drawing / sketching abilities

At least medium web and print experience

Strong foundation in HCI

Additional qualifications (not required, but would be favored):

Prior experience designing brand assets

Proven experience with software UI / UX design

Demonstrated experience with storyboarding

Mild program management skills
