Position Description:

System Center Operations Manager delivers enterprise-class operations management by providing comprehensive event management, proactive monitoring and alerting, reporting, and trend analysis. A key theme for our upcoming releases is significant innovation in User Experience. To help with this initiative, they're looking for an experienced UX Program Manager/Designer to help us design a world-class user experience for a complex IT product. Their ideal candidates have knowledge and experience with all areas of the UX discipline - design strategy, design research, interaction design, and information architecture.

Responsibilities:

Create innovative designs and modify existing designs using UX guidelines, and usability and focus group findings

Produce wireframes, mockups, HTML/CSS prototypes, PPTs

Prepare screens for and participate in usability studies

Work closely with feature PMs, Usability Researchers, and UX designers.

Qualifications:

Ability to rapidly create and iterate design flows, mockups, wireframes, prototypes

Work independently to understand requirements and scenarios and be an advocate for great customer experiences

Familiarity with iterative design process and user-centered design principles

Operations/IT Management experience (this could be a "Nice to have" for the right candidate)

Strong Adobe CS skills especially Fireworks Experience designing

Excellent communication skills

Nice to haves: WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), especially Expression Blend and Silverlight
