The ground-breaking EA Sports GamerNet game feature was introduced to the Tiger Woods PGA Tour franchise last year and revolutionized the online gaming experience for players around the world. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 features a new and improved EA Sports GamerNet - with a more seamless integration, enhanced user-interface and daily winners.
In Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, EA Sports GamerNet will feature Instant Challenges, such as long drives, approach shots and putting will be automatically delivered to players throughout any and all rounds. Players will also have the ability to post EA Sports GamerNet challenges at anytime from any fairway with no interruption to their current game. EA Sports GamerNet also features daily challenges customized to fit an individual's playing style, and an all-new daily leaderboard that gives any player the opportunity to win on any given day.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 09 will also feature dynamic, personalized gameplay via Tiger Woods' personal coach, Hank Haney - as well as an all-new game engine powering online simultaneous play. This all-new online engine gives up to four players the ability to play each hole at the same time, allowing players to get in a rhythm, swing when they are ready and make one round of golf even faster and more competitive than ever before possible.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour will be available on August 26 on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system, the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment systems, the PSP (PlayStation Portable) system and Wii.
