Job Description:
Aquent is looking for a Web/interactive designer to update current websites with some design. Specifically seeking someone who knows MS Silverlight inside and out.
The day-to-day responsibilities:
Follow a design brief and brand identity standards
Excellent layout and typography skills
Prepare and optimize graphics for use
HTML editing
Skills you'll need to accomplish goals:
Proficient in Macromedia FreeHand, Photoshop, and possible illustration/animation
Possess HTML, JavaScript, CSSP, Flash skills or the big one Silverlight
Excellent understanding of user interface fundamentals
Understanding of design for content management systems
The bare minimum:
Design degree or diploma preferred
Knowledge of design trends and solid experience in multiple platforms, specifically Silverlight
Proven commercial experience in an interactive design role
