R/GA, the agency for the digital age, announced today the launch of R/GA Branding, an industry-leading practice that focuses on the digital space. It will be led by the newly hired VP, director of branding, Marc Shillum, who has an extensive background in advertising, branding, and design. He begins immediately and will report to Nick Law, Chief Creative Officer—North America.
“In essence, the work we create with our clients, whether digital platforms or integrated campaigns, is branding, because it has a huge influence on consumers’ perception of brands,” said Bob Greenberg, chairman, CEO, and global chief creative officer, R/GA. “It became clear to us that there’s an untapped opportunity for brand experts who understand how digital behavior factors into a company’s brand. So, we decided to formalize a practice led by Marc Shillum, which we plan to integrate into our total agency offering.”
