Job Description
This key position for VCUQatar will work to increase the level of multi-media and audio visual services to the student, administrative, instructional, and research community in Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar. This position will provide expert operational, technical and creative support in the areas of multi-media system design and implementation.
The Media Support Services Manager will regularly provide classroom and distance learning support as well as perform inventory management, equipment maintenance and repair, video production and video networking, and all other on-site technical support. The Media Support Services Manager will be responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of all multi-media and audio/visual support systems for VCU Qatar special events, symposiums, conferences, instructional classrooms, and vendor-related activities as well as routinely monitoring the effectiveness of multi-media systems.
The Media Support Services Manager will work collaboratively with VCUQatar instructional and administrative departments as well as the School of the Arts IT team in VCU Richmond to coordinate multi-media services and meet the daily and long-term educational goals of VCU Qatar.
