Delaware Art Museum Presents: “Take a Seat” Fall Fundraiser

The Delaware Art Museum is throwing a party inspired by the exhibition Garry Knox Bennett: Call Me Chairmaker. There will be a live auction of finely crafted chairs and a silent auction of “seats” to restaurants, theaters, and sporting events.
The Museum will also present fireworks over the Copeland Sculpture Garden, live music, cocktails, and delicious cuisine. Invitations will be mailed to Members over the summer.
DelART's goal for this year’s fundraiser is $150,000. Proceeds will help support the Museum’s educational programs, such as Red Apple scholarships for youth art classes, ArtSmart events with area schools, Glory of Stories for preschoolers, and outreach to our community.
Those unable to attend are encouraged to make a contribution.
