Job description:
An agency is seeking a senior level Traffic Manager with strong ad agency experience.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the timely flow of multiple projects from conception through completion in the department's work queue
Confer with key team members to develop a project plan, milestones and required tasks for each project
Key liaison between Content Management, Creative Department, Art Buying, Graphic Designers and Producers ensuring continuity, timing and accuracy of all projects
Ability to coordinate, facilitate, and manage client presentation materials and all aspects of various types of media i.e., print, interactive, events, and broadcast
Follow up to ensure project goals are being met, and provide direction and insightful solutions to issues when needed
Regularly communicate status of all projects by means of weekly meetings, status reports, and daily updates to leadership
Maintain overall quality by proofing all materials prior to routing and release
Obtain necessary approvals from required departments during the internal approval process
Ensure that the fundamental traffic processes are adhered to
Update and maintain consistency within project files
Requirements:
5 to 8 years advertising agency experience in traffic management
Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
Previous experience working with Fortune 500, high-profile clients
Excellent organization and communication skills, with an exceptional eye for detail
Ability to manage a heavy workload and other coordinators, department managers and leadership
Excellent written, oral and proofreading skills a must
Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate unpredictable deadlines
Strong computer skills are required; knowledge of graphic design software is a plus
