The Loewe highlight at this year's IFA is the new Loewe Reference home cinema system. Televisions, audio systems and the Mediacenter set standards in technology and design. Loewe’s new line firmly emphasises the brand’s premium quality. Also at the heart of international innovative design: the new Loewe Art SL television line, the Individual Mediacenter, new compact televisions from the Connect line and a special, all-white edition of the Loewe Compose home cinema system. In the lead up to the IFA, Loewe has already been awarded the IFA PreView Award by over 250 journalists from the specialised and mainstream press, radio and television. They singled out the Individual Mediacenter for innovation and the Art SL for design achievement at the IFA 2008.
Exclusivity and outstanding workmanship give the new Reference line a unique character. The 52-inch television with Full HD panel and 100 Hertz technology, together with the new extremely flat speakers, creates a fascinating home entertainment experience. Despite an impressive profile of only 60 millimetres, the new Loewe Reference has everything that makes television today fascinating and versatile. Combined with the Reference Mediacenter, it becomes the intelligent centre of real multiroom entertainment. A special feature of the Reference speakers is their full-bodied sound, based on electrostatic charge.
Loewe features this technology, which makes incredibly slim speakers possible, for the very first time on the premium market. The whole system can be controlled using one single high-quality remote control. Its clear OLED display shows its complete operating status, even in other rooms. The entire system can be placed on one single floor plate made of polished aluminium, thereby giving the Loewe Reference a sculpture-like quality.
Simply convenient: the new Loewe Art SL television line. Despite its slim profile, the Art SL has it all - including an integrated hard disk recorder and a receiver for high-definition television. The Loewe Art will initially come onto the market in 42 and 47-inch versions, and in the colours Chrome Silver and High Gloss Black.
At the IFA 2008, the successful Individual Compose line will be extended to include products in High Gloss White. Large format televisions, sound projectors, subwoofers and external satellite speakers combine to form a high quality, stylish home cinema system in white.
Loewe presents an intelligent media centre at the IFA 2008 in the Individual Mediacenter, which simultaneously serves as a high-performance audio server for revolutionary music distribution throughout the whole house. Featuring a CD and DVD player, stereo tuner, iPod interface, two USB ports and a network connection, the Mediacenter combines practical functions in one central unit.
The successful Connect television line now includes smaller formats for typical secondary sets. The 26-inch set will give you full media features for simple networking with a PC or media server. The smaller Connect 22, just like the Connect 26, also receives radio programmes via the integrated FM tuner.
