A workshop session encompassing discussions about different forms of IP, their marketing opportunities and what a designer should keep in mind when designing.
This workshop will also teach designers how designs, patents, trade marks, copyright and domain names are Intellectual Property Rights. Rights when protected can give one sole ownership of their own design and possibly provide huge commercial benefits.
The workshop, by IP firm Marks & Clerk, will include case studies to highlight the opportunities and commercial benefits of getting the right protection as well as how to avoid any costly pitfalls. After the workshop there will be a Q&A session with the opportunity to, while enjoying a drink in the Design Museum, speak to the specialists from Marks & Clerk.
