Organized by Grafia, Association of Professional Graphic Designers in
Finland, the entries for the 17th International Poster Biennal 2009 will be selected by a committee of industry professionals such as Pekka Loiri, Tapani Aartomaa, Timo Berry, Esa Ojala and Kari Piippo to be exhibited in the Poster Museum, Lahti Art Museum, in FInland from 14 September to 27 September 2009.
During the exhibition, the posters selected by the committee will then be evaluated by an international jury based on 2 categories, series A: cultural, social and commercial posters and series B: environmental posters.
Prizes will be awarded to the winning posters that meet the high requirements of creativity, originality, aesthetic quality and communicative functions.
