MyScreen Partners With Advertising Firm, Omnicom- Zimmerman

MyScreen announced that they have partnered with recognized national retail brand builder Zimmerman Advertising. Zimmerman will quarterback a team of global Omnicom units, to facilitate global advertising sales and brand development.

MyScreen is a patent-pending, non-intrusive marketing and advertising solution that compensates mobile subscribers for allowing targeted rich-full screen, contextual advertisements to be displayed on their mobile device at the end of a call or SMS. No user behavior modification is necessary. The ads are displayed at the end of a call when the subscriber is most receptive to receiving messages and acting upon them. The ads never interfere with the subscriber's regular phone usage.

The combination of portable digital screens, rich subscriber profiles and location-based technologies makes mobile the most accountable medium for advertisers. Mobile phones have become an integral part of consumer life and the rapidly expanding screen size and resolution makes today's phones the billboards of tomorrow.

By aligning itself with a company pioneering this ad model, Zimmerman recognizes the scale of this shift. The Zimmerman/Omnicom team will begin by conducting a massive segmentation study. With target markets defined, advertising partners will assist MyScreen in its global roll-out.

Marketers and advertisers have to consider the digital media options to engage audiences, especially with the younger generation.
